On the back of the success of Englands Lionesses in Euro 2022 and the introduction of the Barclays Girls’ Football School Partnerships (BGFSP) in 2019, the spotlight is on Girls football more than it has ever been – and rightfully so. Opportunities for girls to play in and out of school have increased around the country and more and more girls are giving football a go.
